Local small business owner and friend Sumahrie reached out to work with her on her new collection. I loved working with this backdrop of the California sky, on this cloudy day on top of a parking garage outside of Los Angeles. This collection is inspired by the fabrics and patterns of Sumahrie’s home country of Sierra Leone. She combines traditional African fashion with western influence.
